In 1990, I was a 23 year old broke college student just finishing my degree. I owed $60,000.00 for my education, I had two credit cards and zero savings. My dad offered me a summer job through his company doing basic taxes in the mall. That’s when I met the person who introduced me to Primerica and changed my life forever.

Although I was rich in education, I was very poor in financial knowledge. Despite having a degree in Biology with a minor in math and Chemistry, I knew nothing about how to apply any of that knowledge to my own life.

Through Primerica, I learned the fundamentals of how money works so I could become debt free, properly protected and financially independent. More importantly, just a little research showed me that when the company said “we do what’s right” my research showed that this was absolutely true.

Not only did I embrace the financial principles that Primerica taught by becoming a client, I was so excited about what Primerica stood for that I decided to get involved as a financial representative.

After spending years going to school, studying hard and getting good grades I realized that I was on track to live the 40/40/40 life. Work for 40 hours a week for 40 years of my life to retire on 40% of what I struggled to live on before retirement. Whoever said that we are supposed to work for a lifetime for somebody else so that we build their company and help them establish their dreams? I wanted a different path. I know that you also want to change your path which is why you are here.

So I started my traditional career as a school teacher and got involved in Primerica part-time mastering how to help my family and hundreds of other families learn the basic financial principles none of us learn in school. I taught high school for ten years. In 2016, I was able to leave teaching and turn my Primerica business into a full-time career.

The most amazing product that Primerica has to offer is not the powerful financial tools that we provide and coach families about, but the incredible opportunity to build a company within a company on a part-time basis and at your own pace in a professional, regulated field that requires state and federal licensing.
